30 – F.C. Football Game – (all students qualify for this optional trip)

5 – Pep Game (pep band only) with special guests: The First Colonial Marching Patriots

November

2 – Pep Game (pep band only) Game will be played at First Colonial H.S.

11 – Veterans Day Parade (marching band and drill team)

December

3 – Hometown Holiday Parade (marching band and drill team)

13 – Holiday Concert and Silent Auction – 6:30 p.m.

January

7 – District Band Auditions (Adv 7 th and 8 th graders who choose to audition)

February

3 & 4 – District Band Event (for those selected on January 7)

March

10 & 11 – Band Festival (Advanced 8 and selected 7 graders)

TBA – Jazz band rehearsals start

April

TBA – Solo & Ensemble Festival (All students qualify for this event)

TBA – Norfolk Azalea Parade (marching band and drill team)

May

TBA – Spring Concert & Awards program – 6:30 p.m.
