Library Media Center

Hours of Operation

The Library Media Center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Circulation Policies

• Students may check out up to three books.
• Books may be checked out for two weeks.
• Books may be renewed if they are not on reserve.
• Occasionally, reserve or reference books will be available for overnight checkout.
• Overdue fees are 5¢ per book per day for two-week checkouts and 25¢ per book per day for overnight checkouts.
• Students will be charged the replacement cost for books lost or damaged beyond repair.

Computer and Printer Use

• Fourteen networked computers are available for student use.
• Students who use any computers in the Virginia Beach City Public School system are subject to the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Please ask a Librarian for permission before you use the Internet.
• One networked printer is available near the library office.
• Please ask a Librarian for permission before you print.
• Students are limited to printing two pages per person per day.
