Cheerleading Applications
due. NO LATE APPLICATIONS
WILL BE ACCEPTED. This is part of the responsibility that
we are looking for and expect in a cheerleader. Tryouts
will be the held the week of May 12-16th.
Young Men of Vision with Mr. McClendon and Mr.
Bates in Room 403 right after school.
Physicals will be offered from 3:45-5:30 P. M.
for any young ladies trying out for Cheerleading. The
physicals will be good for the 2008-2009 school year. They
will be in the Library. The cost is $10 CASH ONLY.
Parents MUST accompany athletes and sign the physical
form available on the LMS web site or in the main office.
Band Program at 6:30pm in the Cafetorium.

YEARBOOKS ON SALE!
LMS yearbooks go on sale online starting Monday March 10
until they are sold out but no later
than May 10. Just
go to the Jostens' site www.YearbooksOnSale.com and
locate Lynnhaven Middle School. Credit cards may be used
and the yearbooks will be delivered. A receipt will be emailed.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
is next week, May 5 through May 9. Be sure to show your
teachers how much you appreciate them!
NATIONAL SCHOOL NURSE DAY
is Wednesday, May 7. Let's show our nurses how much we appreciate
them for dealing with the less healthy side of our school!
CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS
Applications are due no later than Wednesday, May 7. Tryouts
begin on Monday, May 12 and run through Friday, May 16.
SOL TESTING
begins Wednesday, May 14, and runs through the first week
of June. Check the calendars for detailed dates for tests.
