for home use
If
you are having issues getting in from home, try some of the following:
*add
studentportal.vbschools.com to your list of Intranet sites under
Tools - Options -
*xxxxx@vbstudents.com is the best username if using Internet Explorer.
*If you connect through AOL/ MSN/ PeoplePC/ Netzero or any other
hybrid browser, you need to minimize and start a clean copy of
IE.
*if you use Mozilla, Netscape, Firefox, all you need to enter
is xxxxx and nothing else for the user name.
*If you have several profiles on your home computer, you have
to have the administrator's rights.
*try hitting refresh - then you can put your student ID on the
end of the URL - then, ERASE everything but your login name
