SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICES

Ann Bowerman
Nurse
Pati Wright
Clinic Assistant

Please keep your child home if they have:

    • a fever of 100 or higher.
    • Student should be fever-free without fever reducing medication for 24 hours.
    • Vomiting/diarrhea.
    • Student should be free from vomiting/diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school.
    • Pink eye.  Student may return to school
after they have been on antibiotics for
      24 hours.

Many illnesses are most contagious at the beginning.  If your student is kept home, fewer children and staff are exposed to infection!  Please use your best judgment and remember sick children belong at home and well children belong at school.

“You can’t educate a child who isn’t healthy and you can’t keep a child healthy who isn’t educated.”  M. Jocelyn Elder – former Surgeon General
